About Becky

I like to create beautiful things and be surrounded by them...

I’m a water loving Pisces raised on a Waitaki forestry nursery.

Based in Ōtautahi now I’m a mother to two handsome sons, I love music festivals and dress up parties, growing flowers, long hot summers, and camping trips in our vintage caravan.

I am extraordinarily practical, fastidiously tidy and a prolific maker of things – taught by my mother how to mend, sew, knit, embroider, crochet, bead, weave, paint, stencil and make things go further than they should.

Without apology I am a self-confessed colour-holic from the tip of my ruby red slippers to the top of my tiara. As far as black goes I own a studded black leather jacket and mascara – end of story!

Working in the New Zealand interiors industry has reinforced what I already knew - that we are generally a conservative bunch when it comes to colour, often more concerned with a neutral palette for resale than creating a home interior that screams – this is me!

I have had a long running love affair with cushions and now we are out of the closet for all to see – my gorgeous couch tossed, chair propped, bed stacked, floor flung kaleidoscopes of modern opulence, playful sophistication and colour!
