You can find The Cushion Couturier at 69 Rutland Street in the leafy suburb of St Albans, Christchurch.

A beautiful colour-drenched boutique with a treasure trove of hand-made cushions, my workroom plus an upholstery service and a range of some special gifts, books and homewares curated from small scale NZ creatives.

Open Monday - Friday 10am - 5pm and Saturday 10am - 2pm or by appointment.

The Cushion Couturier offers a custom cushion design and make service with a large selection of quality furnishing fabrics to choose from, or you can supply your own fabric.

You can customise the size, finish, and colour combinations. I stock more than 50 velvet, cotton and linen colours for piping and cushion backs, plus every size of luxurious ethical feather inners. 

I encourage you to bring in photos of your space if you'd like my help with suggestions for fabrics and colours that you could consider. I've worked as an Interior Designer for the past 10 years and this part of the process is a fun mini design experience!

I am happy to quote to supply any furnishing fabric on request, and can help direct you exactly where to look if you are on the hunt for something in particular that I don't have in the store.

There's free parking and a coffee shop a couple of doors down. Please allow some time when visiting the store to discuss custom cushions.
