Roll/Repeating Pattern Wallpaper:
As a general rule as long as your ceiling height is 2.4m or less, you will get 3 ‘drops’ of wallpaper out of each roll taking a pattern repeat into account.
3 drops of wallpaper (1 roll) will cover 3 x 52cm = 1.56m width of wall.
To calculate how many rolls you need if you want to fill a wall, measure the width of your wall and divide it by 1.56, then round it UP to the nearest whole number.
Mural Wallpaper
1 x set is made up of 3 x strips (52cm wide x 3m high) that are pasted to the wall side by side to form the picture.
As long as your ceiling height (stud) is 3m or less, 1 x set of this mural will cover 1.56m width of wall.
To calculate how many sets you need to fill a wall, measure the width of your wall and divide it by 1.56, then round it UP to the nearest whole number.
Please ensure you are ordering the correct amount as it is not possible to return unused rolls, and there may be subtle colour variation between batches ordered at different times. Ask your installer if in doubt or send us an enquiry via the contact form.
Yes you can!
We have sample books of the wallpaper collections that you are welcome to look through in-store.
We don't have wallpaper rolls in stock or on hand.
MIND THE GAP premium wallpapers can be applied on any wall of your house, with the condition the room is sufficiently ventilated.
The wallpapers are not steam-proof or waterproof and we do not recommend using them in places where they are likely to come in direct contact with water.
If you still want to use this wallpaper in high humidity areas, we recommend applying a good protective varnish (we recommend a product called Resene Concrete Clear) over the wallpaper after it is installed.
We recommend using a good quality ready- mixed paste suitable for paste the wall, non-woven wallpaper.
You should always use an experienced installer to ensure the best end result.
