Hydrangea Birds Cushion

Hydrangea Birds by GPJ Baker was originally painted in 1916 and is inspired by a fragment of Chinese wallpaper dating back to the 18th Century.

Birds perch in swaying branches, surrounded by flowers and butterflies. This is one of two cushions that are made from this fabric - search Hydrangea Birds to see them side by side. 

Out of all the fabrics on display at The Cushion Couturier store, this is the one that draws the most comment. The linen is heavy, you can feel the quality and the colour palette is absolutely beautiful - a timeless classic.

GP & J Baker (UK) have been leaders in beautiful textiles since 1884, supplying Royal households the brand is synonymous with the highest quality linens. This design was released in 2001 as part of the Kingswood collection.
