Brunschwig & Fils fabrics have appeared for more than a century in the world’s most beautiful and iconic interiors, from grand rooms in the White House and the Palace of Versailles to romantic country retreats in cottages and seaside homes. Brunschwig & Fils was founded in France by Achille Brunschwig in 1891 with his son Roger opening a New York office in 1925. The company has always acknowledged that French style, in décor, fashion, design, colour and the art of living, is at the heart of the company.
This Brunschwig and Fils screen print dates back to 1997, and features a catalogue of sweet old world flowers including Crocus, Grape Hyacinth, Pansy, Primula and more.
The flowers on each cushion front will vary due to the large scale of this pattern repeat. But you can be reassured there will be comfortingly familiar botanical species, especially if you loved Cecily Barker's Flower Fairy books when you were a child!
It's not quite old enough to be placed in our vintage category but this collector's piece is in perfect condition. There is a lovely small scale self pattern woven into the base-cloth, which has an ivory undertone.
It's simplicity is really quite charming, a flower garden for your sofa!
The price shown includes a luxurious ethical feather inner.
