You are welcome to visit the Christchurch Boutique & Workroom at any time during business hours to discuss your cushion requirements. Please allow some time when you visit.
If you are making a special trip from out of town we recommend contacting Becky in advance to ensure she will be in-store. Private appointments are available outside store hours if preferred.
Yes please do — Becky encourages you to bring in photos to show her. Photos of your space help with fabric, colour, and proportion recommendations.
It can also be helpful to bring along other cushions or curtain fabric you are wanting to coordinate with.
Yes sure do. All cushions are made right here in Christchurch and can be customised in size, fabric, piping, trims, and finishes.

Custom cushions are all quoted individually and made up of 5 components:
1. The fabric on the front
2. The fabric on the back
3. The make charge; varies depending on the size and style. Starting from $49
4. Any trims selected such as piping cord or fringing
5. The feather inner if required
Once your requirements have been worked through, a tailored price can be provided for your custom cushion.
Absolutely. Becky is happy to work with supplied furnishing fabrics and sentimental textiles.
You can provide fabric for all of the cushion, or work with a mixture of your fabric and the stocked fabrics and trims at the workroom.
The lead time will vary depending on a few factors. If all the components of your cushion are in stock then 3-4 weeks is the average turnaround.
In some cases fabric or trims will need to be ordered from overseas - in this case the lead time will be more like 4-6 weeks.
Very occasionally there are delays with shipping or supply and the wait may be longer. Becky will keep you informed.
Your lead time will be confirmed when the custom order is placed.
Good question! Sometimes the cushions you order will be in stock at the boutique and will be shipped within a few days of ordering.
Every cushion design is produced in very small amounts, and made right here in Christchurch. There is no big warehouse of stock! So your order may need to be made from scratch.
For this reason our shipping policy states to allow up to 20 business days for your order to arrive.

When a product is showing as a pre-order, it means that the fabric is not currently in stock in the workroom and will need to be ordered from the supplier, or is ordered and is on it's way. Most suppliers are international.
In most cases, provided there is no issue with supply the fabric will be delivered to the workroom somewhere between 2-4 weeks from ordering (depending on where it is coming from). Then the cushion/s will need to be made before being dispatched.
Pre-orders are aimed to be delivered within 4-6 weeks of the order being placed. If there is any delay with the fabric supply you will be informed asap, and if the fabric is unable to be supplied you will be fully refunded.
Yes — Becky can help source specific fabrics on request or guide you toward suitable options for your requirements.
If you are looking for meterage of a specific furnishing fabric, Becky is happy to quote to supply this for you.
Yes to both although this is currently only a service available to Christchurch customers.
Becky works with an experienced, meticulous upholsterer to deliver this service.
Becky is not currently taking on new private in-home design clients, however in-store design guidance and cushion styling advice is always available.
